Sridevi Basavaraju received her B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering, cum laude, from Duke University. She obtained her M.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, funded by the IBM Fellowship in Digital Signal Processing. Sridevi’s graduate research in the Wireless Communication space resulted in her thesis entitled “Adaptive Channel Equalization of Fading Channels for Microwave Mobile Communication Environments.” Additionally, Sridevi earned a Master of Computer Science from North Carolina State University. Prior to becoming a Patent Agent, Sridevi worked for 16 years in the Telecommunications industry, first as a hardware engineer (7 years) and then as a software engineer (9 years). She worked for Gilbarco and then for Broadband Technologies doing high speed analog PCB design for optical communication networks. Sridevi then worked for Alcatel-Lucent, first as a FPGA/ASIC designer for telecommunications switching systems and then as an embedded software engineer developing IP protocols and Networking products. Sridevi is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina. Sridevi is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
