Myers Bigel Participating in the AIPLA Annual Meeting

Myers Bigel will be participating in the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) 2019 Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. October 24-26.

In addition to sending five attorneys to the event, the firm will be hosting the AIPLA Women in IP Networking Event in April 2020.

Sridevi Basavaraju, Laura Kelley, Sherry Murphy, Scott Moore, and Jim Cannon will be attending the Annual Meeting to discuss trends in protecting  patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets and learn from peers working in law firms, academia, government and corporations. Focusing on how to respond to technology advances that are rapidly changing the IP landscape, this three-day, multi-track conference is expected to attract 1900+ intellectual property practitioners from around the world.

The attorneys at the event will be sharing best practices developed through their work in domestic and international patent procurement in practice groups including Electronics/Computer (Basavaraju, Kelley and Moore), Mechanical (Kelley and Cannon), Biotechnology and Chemical (Murphy and Cannon), and Trademark (Kelley and Cannon).
