TECHNICAL SPECIALIST MADISON WAYLAND JOINS MYERS BIGEL

Myers Bigel is pleased to announce Madison Wayland has joined the firm’s award-winning legal team as a Technical Specialist with the firm’s chemical a biotechnology practice group.

Her technical areas of focus are the biotechnology and chemical fields, including pharmaceuticals, inorganic and organic chemicals and compositions, nanotechnology, polymers, medical diagnostics, medical treatments, plant and agriculture related technologies, and medical devices.

Prior to joining Myers Bigel, Madison spent several years in intellectual property law as a legal assistant and in academia as a university laboratory and colloquia instructor in biology, chemistry, and medical humanities. She has significant background in scientific, technical writing.

She received her both her B.S. in Biology, with a focus on cell and molecular biology, and her B.A. in English from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Madison received her M.A. in English from Baylor University, where her graduate research centered on rhetoric of medicine.

She joins a team of attorneys and patent agents emphasizing patent procurement in practice areas including electronics/computer, mechanical, trademark, chemical and biotechnology. The firm’s experience with domestic and international patents is vast, having successfully filed in practically every country in the world, drafting quality patents that cover the full scope of an invention and stand up to courtroom challenges.
