Jason Kuchar, Ph.D., received his B.S. in Chemistry, from Oregon State University and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry (with a concentration in enzymology) from Montana State University. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jason focused on enzyme characterization especially using mass spectrometry for proteomic research as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Michigan State University. He then worked at various Life Science companies in a sales capacity. He received his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and has worked in the patent law field since 2018. Jason is a member of the Minnesota State Bar and is registered to practice before the USPTO. His practice is concentrated in the areas of patent preparation, prosecution, and client counseling in the biotechnology and mechanical arts.
In his spare time, Jason is becoming an amateur chauffeur, taking his kids to all the activities they are involved in. He enjoys camping with his family and watching college basketball.
