Our attorneys have participated in the development of the university-based technology transfer in North Carolina since the implementation of the Bayh-Dole Act. Members of our firm are active in the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), and make regular presentations at AUTM meetings.Our university practice includes patent procurement, licensing and enforcement for each of the major universities in the Research Triangle: Duke University, North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We also represent East Carolina University and Wake Forest University in North Carolina. We represent many other universities outside the state of North Carolina, due to our expertise in various fields.
