Vernon Guthrie received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Clemson University, and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law. As an undergraduate, he participated in a summer research internship with Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In law school, he served as a staff member of the Tennessee Journal of Business Law. Vernon is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is a member of the North Carolina Bar.
