Patrick Hansen received his Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University. Patrick received his Juris Doctor Degree from Duke University and has been practicing law since 2007. Before law school, Patrick worked as a software engineer for several entities, including Tom Clancy's gaming company, IBM, an internet dot-com, Nortel Networks and Duke's Center for Human Genetics. Patrick is a member of the Virginia, District of Columbia and Federal Circuit Bars and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Before joining Myers Bigel, Patrick practiced at a patent law firm in Washington, DC. Patrick's legal practice includes patent prosecution in the electrical arts, including software, microprocessors, internet-based technologies and telecommunications.
