As a non-leveraged firm, substantive work is performed by our partners and counsel, as well as our associates. Since our firm is a Professional Association (P.A.) similar to a corporation, our partners technically are "shareholders".Each of our attorneys has a technical undergraduate degree, and in most cases a post-graduate degree, and substantially all are registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In addition, many of our attorneys have prior industry experience as engineers, scientists and/or corporate counsel. This experience allows us to successfully interact with both the research staff and the management of our clients, and provides the real-world experience on which practical advice and counseling is based.Our staff is intelligent, hardworking and client-oriented. We are fortunate to have had very low turnover in our staff, and to attract staff members with undergraduate and advanced degrees. We encourage our staff to have direct contact with our clients.
