MBSS Attorneys Lecture on Patent Term Adjustment

Schwartzman presented a CLE lecture on patent term adjustment (PTA) at the North Carolina Bar Association's annual "2009 Intellectual Property Institute for Paralegals" program. The lecture, which was published as part of the program's CLE materials, provided a broad overview of PTA, its purpose, and its implications; set forth the rules for determining PTA; and explored concerns and practical considerations for understanding, monitoring, and correcting PTA calculations.
