MBSS Attorneys Author Article on Obviousness

Ken Sibley and Sherry Murphy have authored an article titled “Avoiding the Obvious,” published in the February 2009 issue of the journal Nature Biotechnology. The article gives some insight into the reasons why a patent examiner may reject an application as obvious, and provides concrete advice to inventors on how to minimize the possibility of an obviousness rejection.
